Group Meetings

On Thursday I met with a few of my fellow classmates to discuss our projects and for people to give advice on how my project is turning out. I began discussing my film opening and everyone seemed to really enjoy the idea. I talked to them about the masks idea and how all the characters will be wearing masks. They really didn't seem to like the idea. Someone said to me that I shouldn't have it because it would block out the characters face and the audience wouldn't be able to differentiate between characters. I agreed with her on that part. I asked her if it would be better to just not use masks at all and if so what should I do. She relied back saying that each character should have some sort of item on them to stand out, like a necklace, or a beard. This group critique really helped me out to improve my film opening. I love doing group critiques, I love helping others and i really enjoy when other people help me.

The blogs are coming to an end soon because i am just about down with the film opening. I can't wait for your guys to see the final outcome. It loos so good!!

Broken....

The title of the film is going to be knows as Broken. The only other name I could have thought of for this film could be Stolen. I just feel like the word Broken is a sick name and works perfeictally for this film.

I chose Broken because the whole purpose of the film is to lead up to a heist. The character development within the film describes all the characters as a little messed up inside or "Broken".

The title would look something like this:        Broken
If I can try and make an edit for the film, I was thinking of doing the title come up as the screen is dark. The word will be slowly coming up on the screen as the letters appear one at a time. And you hear someone typing in the background as if someone is typing the words onto the screen. This is all an idea and would be pretty cool if I could make it work. 

Ill let you guys know  if anything changes with the title and everything. As of now, I think everything is looking pretty good.

Non copy right music

I've been searching up different websites for noncopy right music and I have found a website called Epidemic Sound. It was really easy to use, all I had to do was sign up and I was able to listen and download any noncopy right music. Thi website was so helpful.

I have come down to two different tracks for which I will be using in the film opening.

Track 1:   Your action 3

Track 2:   Zone 611

Both of these tracks work well with this scene. I have asked all of my family members and they all say that track 2 works best. This music will be playing in the background throughout the whole video. I needed music like this to spice up the film. Most if not all films have background music to heighten the mood. Although the music is nothing special, it is a key factor in my film opening.

If I end up changing the background music I will let you guys know.

shooting

Today was the final day of shooting and everything went well. I'm going to start the editing process this week. I am going to edit on I movie because I have it on both my phone and computer. I have been watching a lot of movies with crime/thriller genres and it's helping me out a lot with how I picture my film opening. I can't wait for you guys to see my project. Speak to you soon!!!
